The Vision Behind Aerethos
Aerethos was founded by me, Nathan Sfendji, a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to redefining how school memories are preserved. The idea for Aerethos was born from my own desire to create a photobook capturing personal memories. On New Year’s Eve 2023, reflecting on the past year and the milestones ahead, I realised how valuable it would be to have something tangible to revisit those moments. This sparked a larger idea – why not extend this concept to school communities, where countless memories are made every year?
Having already organised events like the school Debs, I understood firsthand the importance of preserving the defining moments of a student’s final year. I envisioned a yearbook that could encapsulate the laughter, friendships, and achievements of students as they closed this chapter of their lives.
A Long Time Coming
My entrepreneurial journey began long before Aerethos. In 2023, I won the Waterford County and City Senior Student Enterprise Award for my groundbreaking project, Hart Island Clothing – a unique clothing line known for its innovation and attention to detail. This achievement led me to the Enterprise Ireland National Final in 2023, showcasing my ability to lead transformative projects. Aerethos continues this spirit of innovation, bringing the same dedication and passion to the world of yearbooks.
A Legacy of Crafting Memories
Aerethos’ first milestone was the creation of the 2024 Waterpark College Yearbook - the school’s first official yearbook, ever. I led this project solo, curating over 4,000 photos and designing a 100-page masterpiece that captured six years of school memories. It set a new standard for yearbooks in Ireland, receiving glowing reviews from students and teachers alike.
Building on this success, I am now working on the 2025 edition, expanding my vision to offer Ireland’s best value, high-quality yearbooks at competitive prices.
